There is no clinical proof of a cure for panic attacks but there are success stories of people who have learned to live with their condition. Many of these people function among us without our knowing it. How can they get panic attack relief when others cannot? It is a process not a pill nor a trick. It requires a concentrated effort each day.
Claims of a cure for panic attacks have been around for a while and it would be wonderful if there actually were one. The best that most sufferers can do is to treat symptoms and try to make it from one day to the next. Coping is a big mountain to climb but it's not an insurmountable one. When a victim completes a day without an attack it is a victory and when the day isn't that good the same victim remembers the good day. Desperation can't remain if a person grasps the positive.
As has been discussed before a cure is the process where some medicine treatment physical exercise or transition takes the problem away permanently. When people take the polio vaccine they do not get the disease. This is a preventative cure performed one time. Influenza vaccines are taken every year to ward off any number of different strains of the germ. This is a preventative medicine; it is not a cure.
This is not to infer that treatments or preventive medicines are not good. Quite contrary to that if it were not for treatments and drugs that give sick people some relief many would not be able to survive. Relief is all that some sufferers ever hope for and it is sad that some get so little of it.
Exactly how does the panic attack victim get relief? Antidepressants are one of the most often prescribed drugs in the United States and probably the world too. They are not the salvation that some choose to want them to be. They are good for temporary relief of some levels of anxiety and even though they get a bad reputation they can be a blessing through occasional use. The prolonged use of an antidepressant whether it is considered addictive or not is not a solution to anxiety.
Relaxation and controlled breathing are two great relievers. How many people are really relaxed? Even people with no anxiety disorder don't relax as they should. The simplest things are sometimes the hardest to do. If every panic attack victim could relax and breath steadily they would be able to reach that calm place that they seldom go.
Remove the triggers and the guns won't go off. How great it would be to flip the switch to the generator of fear and stress. If this one thing could be accomplished without mind alteration panic attacks would never happen. This would be the cure.
So often we see the commercials for some wonderful product or drug expounding the great contribution it bring to our lives. The panic attack victim would love to have not only the miracle product or drug but also the enthusiasm exuded by the person making the sale. Each little piece of comfort that the victim gets is a panic attack relief. If there is a cure hopefully it will present itself soon.

admin Depression relief medications are usually used by people who would like to get relief from their psychological sufferings. However, it is not easy to identify cases of depression in some people. There are even some people who might spend several months of their lives without knowing that they are actually depressed. In fact, one of the common concerns about use of depression relief medications is that it is not easy to predict which medium will work best for you. Depression can be treated by various methods. Some doctors and even patients like to be treated by natural means. The reason behind this is that natural methods do not involve any artificial chemicals whatsoever. Some of the example of natural treatment is hypnosis, counseling and acupuncture. These types of methods have no side effects. However, over all people prefer conventional depression relief medications. In fact conventional medication continues to remain the most recommended treatment for depression. There are certain tips that you need to consider towards treating with depression relief medications:
1)Give time for the medications to work: Just because you are on depression relief medications, you cannot expect to get well the next day. In other words, you must be patient enough to allow the medication to work for you. With some people it might take more time to work. You just concentrate on taking your medications correctly from time to time and it will turn out to be effective for you.
2)Reveal your entire medical history to the doctor: : The doctor's treatment of depression will depend on the basis of your background. Based on the patient's medical history, the doctor will be able to correctly diagnose the cause of depression and will determine the correct treatment.
3)Be flexible with various treatments: : There are several methods for treating depression. However, not all treatments work for everyone. Hence, be patient to allow your doctor to determine the correct treatment for depression. It may so happen that a particular patient is not responding to the medication which the doctor has suggested. In such a case, allow him to change the medicine and be patient enough to try it. The answer to your treatment for depression may not come immediately. Your doctor may change the treatment in order to be successful in treating you. However, you need to be sincere with your doctor, while the treatment is going on. Your honest feedback given to the doctor will help him to come to the conclusion of knowing the right treatment for you. Hence, you need to co-operative with your doctor while you are on depression relief medications.

June 3rd, 2010
admin It doesn't matter what you are talking about in life, it always helps if you have a balance. This balance can not only be in a physical way, it may also be in a mental way and at times, it is not obvious to the eye. A good example of this is whenever you're dealing with stressful situations, either as a result of an imbalance in your life in some way or another or perhaps the imbalance is being caused by the stressful situation. In order for you to overcome it, you may need to find a way to seek your balance again. There are numerous ways for you to be able to seek this balance but one of the easiest is for you to change your diet. There is an old saying that we are what we eat, and nothing can be more true as far as our stress levels are concerned. Whenever we find ourselves dealing with stressful situations that life is throwing at us on a regular basis, many of us tend to console ourselves with food. Very rarely is this food healthy for us and it only helps to make the imbalance that is within our bodies even worse. By introducing healthy eating into our life again, we help to achieve a balance that enables us to be able to deal with stressful situations successfully. We may also need to seek some kind of an outside force in order to help us to deal with stressful situations in a successful way. For example, acupuncture is something that may be used in order to reduce our stress levels. It works on an ancient Chinese principle that there is energy that flows throughout the body and at times, this energy gets blocked by imbalances within the body. Acupuncture, and other related natural medical treatments help to restore this free flow of energy to the body and allow us to overcome our stress naturally. One final thing that you may want to try is just taking a little bit of time for yourself on occasion. Although it may not be possible for you to take long stretches of time in order to meditate and relax, it does help for you to relax your mind and go to a place where it is peaceful. Even while you're sitting at your desk, you can close your eyes for a minute and really enjoy getting away from it all in this way. Even a minute or two will do a lot in helping you to deal with stressful situations and help you to move on with the day.

Another good idea would be to think positively about your life and your job, thinking about things with a negative attitude only increases the stress level and it does not help your situation at all, so relax and try not to worry excessively, because worrying is never good for anyone. Setting goals for yourself can also be a helpful stress relief strategy, by setting yourself goals it gives you something to work toward one step at a time, avoiding the feeling of being overwhelmed.
