Being decided and showing confidently your position, will avoid spending too much time debating on an issue in our mind not having courage and confidence to believe that your decision could be final. There is one example that made a lot of sense and helped the lady in question avert unnecessary stress. The lady's experience is with relationships and more people can also learn from this and make decisions which will enhance and not derail their lives.As a young woman Mary had seen a variety of suitors who had managed to break her heart as if in a certain order or pattern. Her experiences ranged from verbal abuse to physical abuse and after a season of fatigue from the worries of her life, she decided to evaluate her life and get to see what she was doing wrong. This helped because she was able to realize that she had been entertaining men who had nice words but absent in deeds. She realized also that it was not her desire to have such people in her life in the first place but, because she was not assertive enough or at all in the beginning when the doubts were screaming to her face ans as a result, she had to lie in a bed she had made.Therefore, from the above experience, we learn that if we are not firm enough , we will have to go through stress that would have been avoided easily. Another simple example is when a child is making loud noise when you are concentrating on serious studies. If you tell them to keep quiet without an assertive tone, they will not take you seriously and you will end up fighting and wasting more time. Being assertive is an unmistakable attitude which enables us to go through life without having to suffer common stresses that can influence our lives negatively. Make sure you consider this practical tool that will make your life easier. Growing children or students find this very helpful and they do not have to fall in situations of regret. The tool dispels ignorance and laxity of attitude in all relationships.

admin Stress is a major contributing factor to many modern day illnesses. It is linked to things like heart problems, insomnia and a whole range of other negative conditions. In industry it leads to reduced productivity and at home it leads to tension with our loved ones. Stress is almost like a cancer to our happiness and wellbeing that gradually just eats away at us.
In the twenty-first century we would be forgiven to think that stress is just a way of life and that it is going to stay that way. Some of us even feeling that it is good in the sense that it pushes us and motivates us. Unfortunately it just seems to have become the norm and we expect its presence. However it needn't be like this!
I want to share with you some of the tips that I give to my clients when I am helping them to manage their own stress.
1. Take some 'you' time just to relax. Maybe just kick back once a day on your sofa, close your eyes and listen to some really nice music and think about a nice sandy beach or riverside meadow. Just chill
2. Evaluate your lifestyle - is there anything that can be changed to relieve stress? This could be just subtle changes or it could even massive life changing things.
3. Eat well. This is import in our modern day living. Eat fresh fruit and vegetables often throughout the day and cut down on the amount of processed foods that you eat as these will just make you feel heavy and lethargic - this will lead to negativity that ultimately lead to stress.
4. Drink! When we are thirsty, we are already dehydrated. This is bad news for our brain as when we are dehydrated it is already under achieving. When we drink enough water throughout the day we allow our bodies and brain to work at full capacity, allowing us a greater sense of wellbeing.
5. Cut out the caffeine. Caffeine is a drug that sometimes makes it hard for us to deal with stress. Cutting it out of your diet will certainly help you to sleep better and feel healthier. In many cases it will also help you to think clearer.
So there you have it - 5 great tips that will start to help you along the way to manage your stress. Put them to good use and start to enjoy your stress free life.

It has been used in Eastern countries for thousands of years in religious rituals, for stress relief, and to treat certain medical ailments. In today's society, it is used mostly to deal with stress, anxiety, and depression. As with any alternative medicine or therapy though, there are some that are still skeptical about whether or not meditation really works and if it has any benefits whatsoever.
There have been several studies conducted that indicate that meditation can be very effective in the treatment of stress, anxiety, and depression or even just as a relaxation technique. It is thought that it actually redirects the blood flow from the sympathetic nervous system where the brain reacts quickly, to the parasympathetic nervous system where the brain rests and relaxes. This allows a person to go into a completely relaxed state while lowering their pulse rate and conserving energy. Many people find that meditating first thing in the morning allows them remain calm and relaxed throughout the rest of their day. They also find that it is easier to concentrate and think more clearly.
The one thing that many people do not understand about meditation is that it is not an immediate solution. They try it once or twice and find that it does not work for them. Unfortunately, it takes time and practice to master the technique. A person must be able to completely relax both their body and their mind in order for it to be effective. They also need to believe wholeheartedly that it will work otherwise it is a waste of time. When meditating it is important to do it with passion and intensity in order to get positive results.
If done correctly, meditation can be extremely beneficial. Some of the physiological benefits associated with it include decreased blood pressure and heart rate, pain control, lowered cholesterol levels, and improved breathing for those suffering from respiratory ailments. There is very little physical risk, if any, associated with any of the different meditation techniques.
